We visited this beautiful museum with another couple in the afternoon today. We all really enjoyed this place. Very well done. We enjoyed the patriotic and beautiful building. The stained glass was gorgeous. The exhibit was informative and presented in a user friendly way. However, our visit was not enjoyable because the group of young children visiting were running around... More

Hi jolisa13, thank you for your visit to the Dole Institute! We apologize for any distraction that our young guests may have caused during your visit. We do place a high priority on education for civic engagement and history with K-12 students, and sometimes that can lead to a more noisy environment in our facility. We are happy you otherwise... This museum has many dimensions--place of exhibits of Bob Dole's military and political career, piece of World Trade Center, wall of honor of veterans from area who have served in military, many programs and keynote speakers are also offered.

Whether you are a history buff or not, this is a great place to spend a few hours entertaining out-of-towers. Read displays at your own pace, or spend several hours speed reading to get to the stories that interest you. I particularly recommend touring if you remember Dole, but were too young to realize his contribution to our world. You... More

I have had the opportunity to not only tour the facility but go behind the scenes to some of the collections. It is a small but nice place to visit. It has beams from 9/11 too. For Dole enthusiasts, this is a must-see.

Beautifully designed building coverage the life of Senator Robert Dole. One of a kind stained glass window. Enjoy programs and speakers.

I use this facility for its guest presentations. Very diverse. The speakers are presented free of charge and answer questions from the crowd. The facility itself is beautiful. Parking is never a problem.

This is a beautiful facility, not only paying tribute to Bob Dole, but also to those who served during WWII. The stained glass windows are amazing, and one cannot help but be moved by the stained glass American flag flanked by two remnants of the Twin Towers.

Wow. Just wow. An amazing collection of informational all contained in one location. A definitive plus for any future political major to peruse and be in awe of. Beautiful building, great location and wonderful setting. A pleasure to behold inside and out. At least stop in just to say you saw it. You won't be disappointed.

The Robert Dole Institute offers a great history of the life and service to his country of one of the under-appreciated members of American military and political society. Take time and explore the displays of Bob's life and service; attend one of the presentations, or use the reference areas provided to study American history.
