The children will enjoy the small education center including some live animals such as a parrot with opinions. After a brief stop you can wander the short trails both paved and grassy. With some connected routes you can cover a couple miles, much tree shaded...More

The children were able to see eagles, turtles, snakes, owls, insects, squirrels eating, frogs, a parrot, lizards, and so much more. Thwy even had a preschool room for children to read, play with puppets, dress up, and play with soft and hard animal toys.

This a great place to walk with plenty of trails. The natural layout and wildflowers are beautiful. There are signs of wildlife and it is also plenty of room to bring a stroller and small children

This is a delightful place for families to experience animals in their usual habitats; not all animals are stuffed, some are live!! the folks who work there are very good educating the visitors.

We take our granddaughters here whenever they are in town. A great collection of live and mounted animals and lots of hands on exhibits. It is free! Be sure and hike on the trails.

Yes I think this would be a great place to go. My nieces and nephews are in their preteens and they loved it. This is a nature center and deals with wildlife/outdoors.
