First off, if you're new to NASCAR, bring hearing protection... seriously. Also, if your not coming with someone who's familiar with the sport consider renting a headset or two to listen to the radio chatter; it makes things much more interesting. I'd recommend eating prior to arrival. Also be advised that smokers are everywhere under the stadium. Hated that. It's... More

We went to the NASCAR race in May. If you are a wheelchair user, be prepared for hassle. Parking guards asked for State issued laminated card (besides my license), that I swear I never received, which would be used to verify my handicap parking placard belonged to me. Although this is a good way to ensure people aren't borrowing someone... More

Nice to have a facility like this in the Kansas City area. Rather easy in and easy out for vehicles and people.

Kansas Speedway never disappoints. Well organized, volunteers guide motorists towards the vast, grassy parking spaces clearly marked with location markers that are illuminated at night. There isn't a bad seat in the place to smell the fuel, listen to the roar of engines reving (be sure to nring your ear plugs), and to watch the cars wiz by the grandstand... More

I have been to numerous tracks around the country and this one is the best by far as far as total experience. You will never wait in line for a bathroom, they are kept clean and stocked through the entire race, rarely waited in line for food or drinks. The location makes traffic a breeze! After the race it took... More

Well organized venue not only for the races but for a few other events as well. There are races in May & October. last summer there was a mobile version of the TV show Whipeout.

If you're doing a NASCAR race, get there early! TONS of stuff to see and do outside of the track. We were there all day and didn't see everything. Bring your travel grill and a cooler and tailgate with the fans, mingle and chat everyone up or go browse your driver's gear. Very cool, laid back atmosphere outside during pre-race.... More
