Stage 9's mission is to excite minds, move hearts and change lives through theatrical performance, arts education, and live entertainment in Hutchinson, Reno County, and south-central​ Kansas. Stage 9 strives to produce quality entertainment and provide opportunities for artistic expression for all, specifically focusing on ages 18 and up. We produce plays and musicals ranging from classics to contemporary hits.

Stage 9’s plays and musicals are so professional in their presentation, you lose yourself in the experience and forget that this is a community theatre. Directors of their shows really know how to guide the actors to perform at an exceptional level. The entire experience within this small theatre is amazing!

Stage 9 puts on some of the most introspective, impactful, engaging, and compelling shows in the area. If you see one show, you will want to see every show! You will never regret attending any event that Stage 9 is hosting. Prepare to fall in love with this intimate theatre, and incredible local talent in Downtown Hutchinson, Kansas.

I love Stage9. This fabulous little theatre provides a lovely intimate setting which therefore lends itself to unusual productions. The shows produced at Stage9 are always well done, with terrific directing, staging, lighting and acting. Stage9 provides quality theatre in Hutchinson with shows that bring joy and shows that cause the audience to pause and think about life.

Good man Charlie Brown was ok I thought it could have been casted better and it’s hard to hear without mics being used

Love this intimate theatre nestled in downtown HUTCHINSON! Every show I've seen at Stage 9 exemplifies quality theatre played out in a great space! Not a bad seat in the house! The stage is just big enough to host a variety of shows while bringing the audience right into the heart of each scene! There's a show for everyone each season! Definitely recommend Stage 9!

Very intimate setting for a community theatre which makes for a wonderful experience! Productions very well done with a great variety of shows. I would highly recommend Stage 9!
