We're glad you enjoyed your visit. We think it's good for young and old alike. And we invite everyone to see the William and Ida Schaeffler House this Christmas season 2017.

Thanks Suzeq for visiting us and for taking the time to write a review. We do enjoy sharing our history with visitors. BTW, the supermarket you mention is Dale's Supermarket at 108 W. Grand Ave., and they do have some of the best sausage around.

The design of the Pioneer Adobe House was creative and well thought out for its time period and the barn is a wonderland of unique items from an earlier time that attests to the inventiveness of our ancestors. A must see.
