Stopped here for a lazy lunch in the winter sun, after a long mountain walk in the national forest. We had filet mignon du porc, cooked with thyme and garlic. Simple, traditional cuisine, and bursting with flavour. Washed down with an ice cold beer, and finished off with a very rich molleux au chocolat. Great service and reasonably priced.

I went for lunch in mid-March and the restaurant had only one offering on the menu - two types of sausage, polenta, and salad. The sausages and polenta (all specialties of Savoie) were sauced with melted butter, chives and almonds. Very rich! I cleaned up any remaining butter sauce with my country bread. There were choices for dessert and I chose crème caramel. It was all very tasty. With a coffee I paid 18,50€. I was full, but immediately went snowshoeing on beautiful trails which start next to the restaurant.

Our youngest child (4 years) wasn't allowed in the Gli'air attraction park. So we offered him a pony ride in stead. It's a tame ride of approximately 30 minutes but he really loved it. As a parent you are allowed to guide the pony yourself.

Tip: make a reservation. You'll be appointed a time slot. Sometimes the ponies are tired or hungry and then you'll need to wait.
