Went with my family last Sunday. Around 3.30 it started raining heavily and when we reach at the highest point of Mount Olumpus it was hail storm. Amazing scenery... my kiddo loved it although it was very cold but we had fun...

Just gaze around Cyprus mountains was an excellent experience. It is strange that only tourists visit - locals seem not to appreciate the beauties of the island. Check it out. Worth it.

Kind of an anti climatic ending. We reached a distinctly unremarkable end to the road near the military base. We had about 3 minutes of the view before the fog rolled in and blanketed everything, until we could barely see our own car parked a...More

I was lucky to be in the first row of our bus going through Mt. Olympus. Beautiful scenery and photo opportunities. Would love to be here in winter to see the snow.

Even though some people mentioned that the top is closed due to military areas, most of the locals do drive to the top and you can park right outside of the military base (there is a wider road) and then walk either around the military...More

The highest point on all of Cyprus, not the ‘real’ Mount Olympus, but still really, really high, and giving great views across the island. The ski-lift is exhilarating and fun, and adds a bit extra to the last bit of the trip – and saves...More
