We like visiting zoos wherever we vtravel. We were unsure what to expect from this small zoo. First off, the admission is free. There are some nice animals at this zoo. You are closer to them than most zoos. We really enjoyed the morning at Dodge City Zoo.

Taking the hot day into perspective Zoo was nice small and for the tight budget Free. Buffalo calf was running around, most others like the bear cougar and bobcat were resting inside out of the heat. Pleasant way to relax and enjoy a travel break.

For a small zoo, this was an unexpected find in Dodge City and its FREE! There are many different species to see here that you might not expect to see in a smaller town.

For a smaller town, this is a nice zoo to visit. They had a baby buffalo that we saw along with some smaller animals. It's free and there is a place at the entrance to make a donation if you want to.

We have visited several times and especially love being able to feed the animals with the feed provided in the quarter machines. There is a beautiful park attached with great swings, monkey bars, etc.

Animals were out and about, tigers, bears, and buffalos. Many more animals and a park right outside of the zoo.

The Dodge City Zoo, located in a park south of the main drag in town, is small but packed with some fun animals. There is an walk-in aviary where we watched two peacocks "show" for the females. It is small enough that you can walk through quickly and large enough to feel like you saw a lot of animals. If... More

Yes, this is a small zoo. This time they had a new addition of a baby lemur that was riding on it's Moms back. The animals are well cared for and active.
