Overview
More
Three miles east of Worcester surrounded by glorious countryside and deer park lays one of Britain’s best-kept secrets. Spetchley is a garden for all tastes containing one of the biggest private collections of plant varieties outside the major botanical gardens. Spetchley is not a formal paradise of neatly manicured lawns or beds but rather a wondrous display of plants, shrubs and trees woven into a garden of many rooms and vistas. It is certainly an ever changing garden and one undergoing many changes. The Revival Project is in its infancy; a ten year project aimed at reviving Spetchley's wonderful legacy. Please follow us to see how we get on and come and visit to view this wonderful garden and watch its transformation.

Lovely day yesterday. Staff are lovely too very helpful. Make sure you ring before to hire a scooter as they don't have many. Gardens are beautiful. So peaceful you forget where you are. Thank you.

Spetchley Park, near Worcester, although privately owned, is open to the public for much of the year. The large mansion (not generally open to public) is Georgian, and the grounds extend to over 30 acres, with a large lake, huge cedar trees, and approximately 6,000...More

Visited during the yearly living history show, it was a brilliant day out and well organised. Camps of re-enactors from the ancient geeks to WW2 are set out in the parkland with views of the Malverns. I would definitely recommend visiting during this event if...More

We went to this garden on our local garden club's day out. They garden is a nice manageable size, but still managed to absorb the 40 so of us and a few other visitors without being in the slightest crowded. We were there 11am (opening)...More

Thank you for your feedback and I am sorry that you found the garden difficult to get around. Other feedback has indicated that the paths are indeed wheelchair friendly. We are always looking at other surfaces but we need to ensure that it is in...More
