I visited Moon Marble a number of years ago and enjoyed it as much this time as then. We were able to watch a demonstration of the making of a marble complete with a tiny 🐸 on top. We shared this experience with a group of children and the artist was patient and able to hold their interest. LOTS of old games and items not easily found elsewhere arec available for sale. We spent about 1 1/2 hours, well-spent.

Whether you're traveling with a busload of kids or "seasoned" citizens, this is the stop that will put your tour company at the top of everyone's list! The people on our Fall Mystery Trip had no idea where they were going ("Are we going to see them make kitchen counters?"). The building is squished between railroad tracks and looks abandoned except for the few employee cars standing in mud puddles (call ahead for info on parking lot conditions and where to park your bus). But then the magic happened. Dave showed us how to create intricate and unique marbles by hand, and the gift shop is filled to the ceiling with old-time toys, games and novelties. Plus they make/sell the most beautiful blown-glass ornaments! This stop on our tour was a favorite with our seniors, and we'll be adding Moon Marble to our itinerary on future trips to/thru the Kansas City area. Thank you, Bruce, Lynda and Dave!

Went with my parents and sister! Such a fun stop! Wanted to leave with so much! Love the glow in the dark shirts! If you added a pressed penny machine I would have been in heaven! Already want to come back!

I took my two grandkids to Moon Marble. They had a great time watching the demo on how to make a marble and roaming the aisles looking at all the unique toys and thousands of marbles. We couldn't leave without each kid filling a container with various types, color and sizes of marbles. Staff was very helpful and accommodating to both oldsters like me and my grandkids. A Dairy Queen is a block away if you want to cap off a fun visit to the Moon with ice cream.

From the outside, it doesn't look like much, but inside is a fun store full of an interesting and eclectic collection of toys and games - all the classics and more. Their marble collections numbers in hundreds of thousands and the handmade ones are truly exquisite - they have demonstrations throughout the day to show how the marbles are made.
