This is a unique toy store. They make marbles on site before 3pm. There is a play area where you can try out some marbles with your children. My son and I had a blast playing there. They are many other hard to find type toys there.

It's a fun little place to visit and the marble making demonstration is great. The staff members are kind and considerate.
It is small though - and seems extra small because of the crowds.

My husband and I had a great time walking around and reminiscing about all the old games. We were able to see a specialty marble being made by one of the owners, Bruce Breslow. He is hilarious and every entertaining! Glad we came!

I took my 4 and 2 year old sons there today. Right away within 5 minutes of being inside two employees scolded us that the toys are not to be touched , that there are a few sample toys in the back area to be played with but everything else is not to be touched or played with. The whole store is full of toys and several things are close to the ground and in a child's reach. They need to make their store more "kid friendly", not carry toys down low that they don't want touched, and be nicer to customers coming in.
It's a marble and toy shop, not the Smithsonian.

I must be the only one that wasn't impressed as far as the demo on how to make marbles. We saw her make a very small pig head. I guess I expected to see a more impressive, colorful, marble being made. This is really a store. The stars I gave were for the store. It is full of vintage games, etc. Not a place for small children. They do have expensive beautiful marbles with designs in them that would have been interesting to see even a video on how that was none. They do say at the start of the demo that this is not a marble factory. I am not sure I expected that by looking at their advertising, but i did expect a better demo.

Hello Cay1125. We have an annual show that takes place the first weekend in March called Marble Crazy where artists from across the country come to display their work and give demonstrations. There are 4 demonstration areas during that show including glassblowing demonstrations. The larger marbles in our showcase with elaborate designs inside are demonstrated during this time. We don't normally offer demos of this scale throughout the year partly because it often takes more than one artist to accomplish, and it takes 2-3 hours to make large pieces of that caliber. Since our crowds usually include young kids, we find their attention spans are usually limited to 20 - 30 minutes and they often enjoy the cute animal sculptures that Sara Sally makes. Therefore, our visitors who want to see more we encourage to come to our Marble Crazy show. We have regulars who return every year and stay for two full days of demos! We hope you will give us another chance by checking out that show. www.marblecrazy.com

This is a go to place with the grandkids. No matter how many times they go there the fun doesn't stop. They look at and play with games. Watch marbles being made and they usually always leave with a sleeve of marbles they pick themselves. Then it's Pawpa on his bad knees shooting marbles on the floor.

Friends of ours had visited Moon Marble a few years ago while on a cross country trip and told us how fun Moon Marble was. So glad they recommended it!! Wow! The demo was extremely informative and the artisan encouraged questions from the audience. The wall of marbles was quite impressive! My son thought he had died and gone to heaven with all of the toys to look at and the prices were very reasonable. Certainly worth a stop if you are in the vicinity!

What an interesting and good time place to visit. Of course, you have to have an interest in marbles or at a curiosity about them. MM is set in a a low set, indistinct building that is full of surprises inside. There's a small marble museum, marbles galore, books, and toys, both old and new. There's even a room set aside where school age children can set around a large marble round (circle) and learn the lost art of marble shooting. Then there is the presentation from an experienced glass blower who demonstrates how to make various types of marbles. Since marbles were either machine or hand-made, this event shows how it can be done.
This is a great place to bring children, both young and "olde" ones. I was itchin' to set around their ring and shoot!

Before going here I never realized the beauty of a marble. Artists demonstrate how to make a marble. it is a form of glass making. It always fascinates me how different colors, shapes and objects can be made into the glass - in this case a marble.
There are many artists with marble and other custom glass figures for sale. This is art fair and museum quality in many cases.
They also have an excellent collection of classic games and toys for sale for kids of all ages. And if you are missing marbles or dice from your other games, they have a huge selection of replacements at very reasonable prices.
Recommend stopping in if you are in the area.

The front of the store is up a small hill. Please call ahead 913 441 1432 and park at the east side of the building. We have a straight shot into the store and is fairly level. We will have somebody greet you at the East door. Hope this helps thanks bruce
