It’s lovely to walk along the river from East Peckham to Teapot Island and enjoy their breakfast from the vast menu choice, although I always seem to plump for the small English. Their afternoon tea is also worth the trip. Enjoy ....

Absolutely fantastic place so interesting. Rooms and rooms of teapots of all sorts. Lovely tea room. Young lad named Max gave service second to none! Polite efficient. Friendly and full of chat. Only down fall was the £3 extra cost for car park for entry. Highly recommend.

COVID, what COVID, no masks, no hand gel, no wiping downs tables.
Extremely rude loud man ( ultra thin one, who smokes).
No respect for fellow staff or customers.
Kept bellowing for the young girls to stop serving in the shop!

Did eat here and food was ok.

Staying in the area and popped in. In a nice area although looks a bit run down. Not that busy. Lots of free tables. Did not order much but after 40 minutes we had waited long enough. Seemed everyone else was getting food except us. We asked about our food and then got the COVID talk about short staffing. I can accept that but tell us when we order so an informed decision can be made. Unfortunately I will avoid in the future.

Really grateful to the staff at Teapot Island for opening the exhibition for us even though it was supposed to be closed.

If you love teapots this is definitely the place to be. With around 8,000 teapots there is something there for everyone.

I was thoroughly amazed at the sheer volume and variety of teapots. Whilst 8,000 sounds a lot until you actually see them all laid out it is hard to comprehend such a volume.

There was definitely something there for everyone with some unusual, quirky and some slightly naughty pots. It was also a great trip down memory lane with lots of retro pots.

This place is definitely worth 5 stars because the entrance fee is only £2.50, which is an absolute steal.

If I were to suggest some improvements it would be to have a better grouping/theme of the teapots. I would also have loved to have some sort of guidebook with them all in available to purchase.

All in all, well worth a look. Especially as there is a cafe by the river and also a pub across the river meaning there are places to eat and drink whilst you are there.
