We all love painting pottery! Have been many times and kids enjoy themselves. Seasonal workshops advertised too (Halloween Xmas Easter etc etc). Staff always on hand and helpful. Plenty of paint to be had, all is clean and organised. We all felt COVID safe :) :) :)

“Beautiful setting but disappointing attitude of staff”

We have visited on a number of occasions, with the last visit a few months ago being slightly tarnished by an older lady member of staff being on the ‘bossy’ side. We decided to give it a second chance... Sadly, the experience was spoiled by the attitude of the same member of staff who would not accept that sometimes children struggle to take advice (or instruction on this occasion) on their ‘artwork’ and need to do it their own way. It’s not school, it’s a pottery painting open session!

Highly professional but friendly family run studio's

Having just had a weekend of silver clay and vintage enamelling workshops we can't recommend this highly enough.

Good hands on working with tangible end results to take home, fresh generous lunch and a fantastically well equipped 2 studio's to create many art projects in.

Family run, friendly tuition = FAB, will certainly go again.

Lovely place

Have been here several times with friends, and have taken small children along to make various things. We have made all sorts from pots and plates, to kids toys. Really good fun, well run, very friendly and welcoming yet professional. Thumbs up.

Great for a rainy day!

We have visited on several occasions and are never disappointed. The staff are always on hand to give advice on how to achieve the best results. It is very child friendly and there are lots of different ceramic items to paint. I think the cheapest item is around the £8 mark. There are also a lot of items on display for ideas. We have done the t-shirt printing before which is very professional and the t-shirts are fantastic quality.

Great time had by all

We held part of a 8th birthday party at this art of mine. It was a great success, the ladies running it are lovely and very helpful; plus and the girls had so much fun they couldn't stop talking about it for hours afterwards. It even resulted in some of the adults getting involved in painting a pot. Thanks to this art of mine of making it a lovely afternoon for us.

Brilliant fun, would definitely recommend!

I came here for the first time the other day and was most certainly not disappointed. The amount of things you can do are brilliant.. Paint anything made of clay (there are a wide range of things you can paint!), print t-shirts etc.. Any child would love it and would definitely not be atall bored, as well as the adults! Excellent fun, especially on a rainy day, and staff very friendly and welcoming.

Would definitely recommend without a doubt and will be coming back!

Brilliant place loads of pottery items to choose from, actually spoiled for choice, prices very reasonabl. Kate fantastic definitely going back there, and Saturday opening great.

Will be recommending to all friends and family.

A really lovely way to spend a morning!

We popped in today for pottery painting - two adults and 10 year old twins. For me and the two girls it was a return visit as we’d had such fun on our first visit last year. If anything we enjoyed ourselves even more this time. Loads of pottery pieces to choose from at reasonable prices, very helpful and friendly guidance on hand from staff and a wonderfully relaxing environment. There were quite a few people there but plenty of room still and we could stay as long as we wanted. All materials are provided and tea/coffee too. This a fab place, so therapeutic and great fun too.

Fantastic place for a birthday party

This is a really lovely place to visit. We have been before and my 9 year old daughter chose to have her birthday party here. As soon as we arrived, everything was organised and ready to go. Kate was great with the children, helping them to choose something to paint and how to choose the colours. After birthday tea, the children were able to have a run around outside. I cannot recommend enough. Excellent!
