Karim Mussi’s vineyard is truly special. In a restored Italian-style estate tucked back in Maipú they produce exceptional wines and provide exceptional, tailored service. The sommelier, Silviana, greeted us and at that point asked us our tasting preferences. No other vineyard we have EVER visited has done such a thing. Truly exceptional service. While conducting our tasting we had the opportunity to talk about many different things, music, wine, fashion. We felt as though we had known her all our lives and had a wonderful personal connection. The wines we tasted were delicious, rich in flavor, and one of a kind. Another plus is that they offer shipping abroad and offer a special package for their Brazilian neighbors to take home with them. A must visit if you are near Mendoza.

This was our last winery in our five day tour of the Mendoza region. Our sommelier and guide during our visit, Javier Caruso (#sommeliermendoza) saves the best for last. At this charming old bodega, we learned about the art of winemaking and felt the joy and creativity felt by the winemakers. We also enjoyed a fabulous cheese plate and some of the best empanadas we had in Argentina. Oh, and the wine is so good, we had some shipped home.

This winery was a special treat. Smaller than some, but excellent wines. Karim Mussi's special blend "Fly Me to the Moon" a tribute to Frank Sinatra, was exceptional! I brought bottles home with me!

I highly recommend visiting this vineyard...Meet the very knowledgable and welcoming staff, and taste some delicious wines.

We visited this winery at the suggestion of a local tour guide. We appreciated the brief tour but the wine guide, “Ana” is corrupt. Do NOT buy wine from her. She quoted us $110 and $100 per bottle and then our credit card showed DOUBLE that price, and double the shipping. $1500 of wine became $3000. Appalling. This is a nice winery but the wine is NOT $200 USD per bottle. Argentina wines are not at this level yet. Do not buy wine from them… you can find better at almost ANY other winery in the area. Do the tasting, enjoy the tour, but DONT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM.

We had a great tour and tasting here. Winemaking is such an art and these people are artists. Everyone we encountered was passionate about their label and I can see why. The wine was beautiful and smooth. My favorite was the Abras Torrontes because that is not a grape you find much in the US.

The Karim winery is small, family-run, and offers a very intimate experience. The service was excellent, the wines are very delicious. It's worth the visit to get away from the larger and more "commercial" wineries. mixing the itinerary with more intimate experiences makes a difference in the trip 😉

A great experience, different from commercial wineries. Manoela was impeccable in explaining the wines, the winery and the owner's projects. The best wines we tasted. The bodega is called ALANDES and, despite being simple, it was worth the experience and explanation. On top of that, I realized my desire to try wine in a pipette straight from the barrel. Incredible.

Good tasting. Oldest winery, centuries old, which was later acquired by a Lebanese. Even though the structure is not the most modern, the wines are very good. The tasting takes just over 1 hour. 4 good labels, so many that I bought them. 19 thousand pesos per tasting
