This property so reminded us of the vineyards in Australia. It’s stunning and so are the views. In addition their Palava Wein was the best we tasted in this area. What a shame this is not a restaurant. Would have been a perfect spot. In any case, a must to see if you are in the area.…

We took Mydaytrip from Prague to Budapest and stopped at this wonderful winery on the way. The wine and service was excellent - and the view was super. We enjoyed a tasting and relaxed outside.

The Sonberk winery is not big, but managed very professionally. You can taste wines (and some little snacks) on a charming terrace, with stunning view to vineyard fields. It’s truly a great place to visit and taste dry Riesling, dry Tramin, dry Palava and excellent sweat Muscat. It is rather expensive, but - it is worth!…

Great little winery with terrace that looks over the vines and lake. It’s truly a super cool place to come in the summer they serve food too. The wine is very good & they do tasting sizes for 20kc I would highly recommend trying the muscat it was delicious. They also have some music events throughout the summer just check out their website. …

Today, Monday 15 April 2019, we visited Sonberk winery in Moravia in Czech Republic for a tour of the winery and tasting. We’d like to thank our wine guide, Sandy for an excellent tour of this fabulous winery. Coming from Australia it was great to sample the Moravian wine - we thoroughly enjoyed the Riesling and the Merlot! We would highly recommend a visit to Sonberk for anyone traveling in the area.…
