I took my wife when we were staying at a campground in the area. She loves wine, and I enjoy seeing Winery's. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Their place is very clean, and nice to go in.

Was very excited to come back and visit this little winery as we had an amazing experience last time. Unfortunately I was berated when asked to buy a second tasting as apparently the first one was free and treated very rudely. We would have stayed and had dinner, enjoyed the band tonight, and bought multiple wines as we did last time, but chances are will will not be coming back again even though they have some good wines because of how we’re we treated.

Some friends and I met up here on a Saturday afternoon. We did a wine tasting followed by a glass of wine. The tasting room was cozy with plenty of seating. In warmer weather there is outdoor seating as well. They have a nice variety of wines, and the women working there were very knowledgeable. They also offer soups, sandwiches, and a few appetizers. This is a great place for friends and couples. We look forward to visiting again.

You can taste five for free. We did so with a very generous pour volume on each glass. My wife and I tasted 5 different wines so we each sipped the other's glass and tried ten total. All the wines were good. The fruit wines such as the cherry were excellent. The average price was around $13 per bottle. The two people doing tastings were great with a full room of tasters and another group setting up for a birthday party. Although we were there on a March day and it was chilly, there is a nice amount of outdoor seating. The winery is only a couple of mules away from two different Interstate exits, sou you don't have to backtrack coming or going. We live about 100 miles form the winery but we will definitely stop by again, when heading to Omaha, to buy some cherry wine and Misbhavin'

We go on a lot of wine tasting tours. We love visiting and supporting small family owned businesses and we love wine. We often drive long distances to visit quaint tasting rooms. Yesterday we spent a lot of time online plotting a route to visit little wineries in Iowa. Today we went out of our way to visit this one. On their website it stated the tasting room was open until 6pm. We arrived at about 4:45pm. As we were discussing where to park a guy told us to park on the grass....so we did. We had been in the car a few hours so we were abit stiff and got out, stretched and approached the main entrance. The man never acknowledged us again. This was odd, but my first thought was that he must not be part of the family....maybe an employee. We entered the tasting room and we were the only people there. The lady behind the counter never greeted us. Just sat there. No hello, no welcome. I was beginningto feel uncomfortable. We greeted her and paused. Still nothing, so I said well, how do you do your tastings? She replied that they were not offering tastings today! Apparently they were having a wings day and on wings day there is no wine tasting. We were welcome to purchase wine...... By now I was very uncomfortable. It felt like we were intruders, and certainly not welcome. I said "well, I guess we will go then. Not once did she ask where we were from (Illinois) or encourage us to stay or make any effort to treat us like welcomed customers. Never have we been treated so poorly by a small winery. My advice is to save your time and effort and spend it elsewhere.
