Paper Moom is one of the best bookstores I have ever visited. Louise and Jen have a fantastic inventory of books and novelties. If you don't find a book you think you'd like, ask one of them and trust me, they WILL find a book for you. It is worth making an appointment to browse.

We have visited Paper Moon off and on over the last 10 years whenever we visit the McGregor area. It is by far the best shop in town. But, it used to be the best shop in 100 miles. During our last visit the inventory was less inventive and far more focused on books than in previous trips. It still gets 5 stars for the previous visits and would even be a 4 star attraction based on this visit alone. Hopefully we just hit during a down cycle and we will be back when we are in the area again. On that note; it may be a while McGregor and Marquette are far less action filled and vibrant than when we started visiting 10 plus years ago. Many stores have closed and dining and lodging options are going down hill too. However if you are in the ares BE SURE to stop in Paper Moon; even on this trip we found several items that were unique and special and made it home with us.

A must stop if you are traveling through town! The eclectic decor was mixed with awesome retro items Fun shop with three levels. Loads of unique books on a variety of topics nature, cooking, witchcraft,ect..I bought the Mueller Report and an Instagram cat calendar for a gift. My friend purchased a hand made wooden serving spoon. The ladies that worked in the shop were inviting and knowledgeable. Would go back again in a heart beat.

What a neat store! 3 stories of novelties and books. Owners are a mother and daughter and what a gem they have! I walked past some books individually wrapped with brown butcher paper with a tag attached saying, "Blind date with a Book" and a wonderful description of the book. Curiosity peaked! Wonderful, infectious laughter was heard in the store by the owner! Great personalities and great people to deal with!

What an exceptional store! I could get lost in there for hours! Mom and my sister take one day a year to just get away, choosing a direction and meandering along. We stepped into Paper Moon and they had things that reminded me of our childhood. Halloween decorations, and the books! Wonderful array of books! And it was such a pleasant place to be! Laughter and chatter rang out from all 3 floors of this wonderful store!
