Went out for a drive with my family one weekend and wound up here. The view is beautiful. I could have hung out here for hours; it was so peaceful.

My family has been going here for years. The campground: good campsites and a decent shower. There are plenty of great hiking trails with amazing views.

Wonderful View of the Mississippi where it is joined by the Wisconsin River. Across the river from Wisconsin's Wyalusing State Park and has even better views!

of course you can drive to pikes peak, there is no "hiking" to get to the overlook, more of a 2 minute walk from the parking lot to the overlook.
