If we go to waikelo, you can visit the beach and the port, there are two port at waikelo, the old one and the new one. The new port is under construction, there are damage on several part.

Left of the harbor you can see a white sandy beach but not good enough for swimming noone clean it and the spel of boats from the harbor can swim around the beach. They need much improvements

Being on the harbor it isnot exciting tobuild a house or hotel it is quite dirty and need to develop more.

The beach is right next to the Waikelo port in South West Sumba district. From Waitabula city, follow the Waikelo port sign, it will lead you to this beach. Most locals visit this place for a refreshing. No entrance fee. Parking lot is available for motorbike and car. The only way to step your feet on the sand is climbing down a bit from the parking lot to the beach. It was a nice place to sit on the sand, enjoy the calm sea and watch the sky changing when the sun goes down.

Never wait for a ferry here. So remote and so unreliable. They can't say no so they let you think threw is one coming
