Brought back memories of the Music Man movie. Felt like I was in River City in the movie. One room has 76 trombones on the ceiling. Film clips with Charlie Chapman and video with Shirley Jones describing the making of the movie. Includes the boyhood home of Meredith Willson. Glad I went.

The childhood home of Meredith Willson is included in the tour. We thoroughly enjoyed hearing family stories and learning about the equally talented sister The square was cute but not as interactive as I expected. Good movie about the making of music man. Good stop for an hour and worth the 10

Meredith Willson's boyhood home was well furnished and the tour well worth taking. The street scene was enjoyable with a very interesting video by Shirley Jones on the production of the movie.

This is a Smithsonian quality museum but you really have to be a fan of The Music Man to fully appreciate it. The museum has a nice collection of vintage musical instruments. The entrance fee also includes a guided tour of Meredith Wilson's home next door, which takes about 45 minutes. There are docents that take you around both the... More

We arrived in the morning and they are really in operation during the afternoon. We were able to walk through the Music Man Square and look at all the store fronts and other items which were part of the play,

We had a hard time finding because it's hidden back a little bit when going around the curve and every time I was looking at the library on the left. The guy that led us around was a great tour guide and it's a cute little place that should be better known. The only issue I had was the rooms... More

This is a must see if you liked "The Music Man." It is comprised of the street scene, the museum and Wilson's boyhood home which is next door. Each one of the three has a tour guide. It is really well done.

The volunteers who gave this tour were spectacular!! If we had not been on the road and on a time deadline, we could have stated much longer.

Though I wasn't familiar with the Music Man story I was extremely intrigued by the museum and story.

If you are familiar with the movie The Music Man, Music Man Square brings the movie to life. You walk down a hall that is lined with buildings that were in the movie. Very nostalgic. Then guided tours are offered of the boyhood home of Meredith Wilson that is next door. The tour guide answers any questions that you may... More
