The best beach in the area. Soft clean sand, safe swimming and a good beach bar with decent toilets. The only possible negative is the lifeguards declare red flag conditions very quickly when it’s choppy, if they were in Cornwall it would be red flags every day.

This is a great beach for family and children, with shallow waters in a separate small cove (perfect for paddling) and nice sea next to it for the more serious swimmers. It gets busy from around 10am but calms down later in the afternoon. Parking is limited close by buts there’s a couple of options within a short walk which usually have spaces.

Sadly this lovely beach is let down by poor service at the bar/restaurant. The food is OK but the service is substandard with little regard to COVID protocols (despite lots of signage) and general respect to customers. Feels a little like lip service to comply with the rules and regulations rather than a genuine regard for customer safety and satisfaction.

After a couple of poor experiences here we decided to use the bar/restaurant on the next beach along which was similar in terms of food quality but service was with a smile - a real sense that staff cared about service, safety and overall experience.

It’s a real shame there’s such a difference as it’s not as convenient but if you’re serious about service and coronavirus safety then sadly this beach bar/restaurant is best avoided.

Small beach with great swimming and beach bar.
There are a load of small fish that you can feed while in the water - great for teens.
Also a very shallow section of water with hardly any waves suitable for toddlers
Great beach bar with music for adults.
Clean sand - best beach in the area

Still our favourite beach, despite showing signs of the the recent ‘gota fria’, although the local council are working hard to put this right! Good parking and relatively easy access! Plus the chirinquito, what more do you need for a great beach day?🏖

When there for a few hours , nice clean beach with sun lounger and umbrella for hire 7.50 euro a day, there’s a place near to get a drink and something to eat.
Parking can be an issue sometimes.
Pet frendly parts of the year but not in the summer season .

We saw this beach previously and Came back to this beach on a cloudy and windy day. The beach was quiet but was still beautiful and one we will return too. There is a shop and restaurant at the beach and some good parking facilities.

This is a super beach with lots of space and pleasant swimming. Also rock pools for kids and a playground nearby! Just a pity that people cannot take their garbage home with them! Also there is very little parking, so get here early on Saturday and Sunday in season!

We always like coming here as it doesn't seem to get as busy as some of the other beaches and due to the large rock on the north side it creates a lovely safe and shallow area for small kids. This kids area doesn't get any waves nor any of the seaweed that can be a problem on the other side which, unfortunately does get a bit heavy at times. Keep an eye out for the fishes in the shallow, clear water too.

Lovely , beach parking and access can be an issue in the peek season . Life Guards present from end June to September , to cover Spanish school holidays .
Access to beach is via some step steps , although there is a level Access and drop off point.
