I was here with two Ukrainian cousins and my Aunt for the first time this past May. I was pleasantly surprised to see how beautiful the grounds were and how clean everything was. It felt like being at a top United States theme park without the rides.

I had never been to any hot springs before and enjoyed all of the different pools. You could swim, wade, float and soak in many different temperatures of water. There was a small lazy river circle and jets that hit those tired, sore muscles.

We also experienced the spa. There were several rooms go relax in. The first was a eucalyptus steam room, the second a sandalwood steam room, the third was a Scandinavian sauna with wood seats and floors (very hot dry heat). Next was a room that was freezing cold to cool off in. Then was a Turkish steam room that was thick with steam, but I could still see my family members through the steam. Next was a salt room and the last one was dark and so thick with steam that I could not even see into the room - definitely did not go in THAT room.

There is a large cold pool with a swim up bar that you can order food and drinks from, but I didn't order anything.

There is a locker room and changing rooms with showers that have soap and shampoo dispensers- all of this was incredibly clean.

The only con I had was not knowing we needed to rent towels at the front desk or bring your own, but they did have a spinning machine that sucked out all the water from your suit.

I would visit again and stay. I would also encourage other Americans to visit here - Americans truly do not know how to relax so luxuriously and the prices are very reasonable for us.

I visited in May 2019 , reception was very warm and pleasant . They made us comfortable it’s better if you know the native language . You get to enter by paying around 20$ for 3 hours of complete access to hot pools , saunas ( there are so many of them inside ... you will love them ) . They will give you a bracelet / band with the scanning chip . You will use it for your food also and at the exit they will check how much time you have spent inside and will charge extra if you overstayed . For food this chip has a limit of Around 20$ that you need to pay later at exit if you use it . So as you enter you will see pools with different colours and essence( beer, wine , tea , fruits ) . Saunas from different countries.. Then After complete relaxation you enter the food area . You pick your plate and fill it up with all you like and want , at the end they will scan your band .... don’t forget to wrap towel when you enter the food area . On the whole superb place . Loved it . Plan to spend at least 1-2 nights here as they have very nice and cozy rooms .

We visited in September when the weather was still rather warm. The place is in the middle of nowhere, 500m from Hungarian border. To get there you need a car or "meet and assist arrangements". Knowledge of Ukraniean or at least Russian language would be highly useful too :)))

If you expect vivid nightlife, you'd be highly disappointed. Its all about health issues and relax.
The best choice is to book on site Ivancso Birtok Hotel . It is comfortable, new, clean and reasonably priced. And you can use all spa facilities starting at 6 am and till midnight. Morning swim without crowds of day visitors was the best thing!!!

We booked duplex room for 4, with terrycloth robes, slippers and complimentary water and bottle of wine!

There is a restaurant on site serving Ukrainian and Hungarian food. Breakfast is included for hotel residents, its quite plentiful with boiled and fried eggs, different omelets, cold cuts, yellow and cottage cheeses, fresh vegs, cereals, etc etc.
Rest of the day it serves lunch and dinner dishes by weight at reasonable price (100 gram about 1 Euro). Try thick Hungarian soup called BOGRACH, its absolutely delicious.

There are several swimming pools, hot and cold water, including two walking (Kneipp) pools. Also, you should try complex of saunas, wet and dry. But be careful with ice sauna, I've caught a cold after 10 seconds of being there.

Also they offer several kinds of massage, and it was excellent!

Service was very, very friendly and efficient everywhere.

All in all, highly recommended for relaxing, downtime holiday.

Beautiful large property, with many water facilities such as mineral pools with different temperatures, walking pools, saunas. restaurants, cafes, children playgrounds, it's a place where one can spent an entire day and relax and enjoy the outdoors and come out totally rejuvenated.

An excellent opportunity to warm the bones in hot thermal springs and various saunas when around the cold and frost. Also it is pleasant to enjoy two meals a day in a buffet style. The interior and exterior make a good impression.

I knew that we have thermal baths in Ukraine, but I had no idea about such a great complex with different pools with thermal water. We spent there 3 hours, and to be honest this was not enough. This is a great place for family holidays. The territory is well kept, everything is clean and nice.

We visited here out of curiosity one sunny, warm August afternoon. The free car park was extremely well marshalled and we parked quite close to the entrance. By Ukrainian standards the entry fee was expensive. If my memory serves me correctly we were charged £6 for 2.5 hours here. Alternatively we could have paid £12 for the whole day. Even with the strong pound at the moment, this is still expensive.
The rather tall security guard (who spoke some English) searched bags preventing food and drink being taken in, but I believe you can exit and reenter if you wish to leave it in your car and eat outside the complex. Inside I think bottled water was about 60p and Sprite was around £1 - again, quite expensive by their standards.
The pools here are laid out amongst a copse of small trees next to a rather grand but false-looking large house. The grounds and public areas are very well kept with cleaners picking up any litter and ensuring the changing rooms and toilets are near-spotless.
We eventually found four sun loungers in a row and sampled some of the pools. The pool with the pool bar was probably the most enjoyable as it contained cold water and wasn't thermal. The thermal pools were very warm and I felt uncomfortable in them.
I had a go on the Kamikaze water slide. As I expected, it was over in seconds and resulted in me being submerged at the bottom of the slide with water filling every orifice!!
The clientele range mainly seemed to be families and the over-60s, presumably seeking relief from their aches and pains.
We believed this attraction to be expensive and overrated, but the staff were plentiful and extremely efficient at their jobs. We visit this area of the Ukraine annually, but I don't think we'll be returning to Kosino next year.

Big bonus is when you stay in the same hotel. You have extra cool bonus to swim in all pools almost alone in early morning or very late evening.

I've never been to a resort before where the hot springs were the main attraction. I'll break down the pluses and minus below.

Positive
======================
Hot spring pools were very relaxing

A variety of ways to enjoy the warm water including a small lazy river and jets that shoot water on you in a variety of force and splash patterns

Rooms were very nice and modern

Rooms had a small safe where you could set your own combination to open it

Free bottle of wine in room

Good water pressure in bathrooms

Everyone is allowed a robe to use while staying at the resort (they didn't have one to fit me though ... I wear a size 56 suit)

Bird exhibit with a few unusual birds to see

A regular pool with colder water (Water temp was about 21 C/70 F) with a swim up bar where they play Latino type music

A great sauna complex where they have a Roman sauna, Turkish steam sauna, Hungarian sauna(very similar to Scandinavian sauna), herbal sauna, and eucalyptus sauna, and one or two more I can't remember. They also had an ice room where the temperature was either 10 C or -10C, I can't remember.

The staff work very hard to keep the grounds clean. They scrub around the paved areas surrounding the pools very thoroughly every day.

Good security in the hotel.

Try the Hungarian soup that has potatoes, cubes of meat, and kidney beans ...... delicious !

Negative
====================
Food is not truly all inclusive as you will need to pay for ice cream bars/treats, pizza, or pasta dishes

Our shower would be just the right temperature when using and then would suddenly go to scalding water. Be careful.

Prices seemed high for Ukraine, but we had a really good time
