We were walking in the area last Sunday and sat at the picnic benches to have our lunch. It was close to 1pm when we finished and we had noticed that the mill opens then. We walked to the visitor centre and asked when was the next guided visit and they said straight away. The tour was only £5 each.

The tour was very informative and good humoured. The guide had developed a rapport with the people on the tour. The story behind the preservation of the mill is interesting and it is still in working order.

After the visit we went back to the visitor centre where we had tea and cake. There is a good selection of homemade cakes, I chose whitsun cake. Our visit including the guided tour and our time in the cafe lasted c 75 minutes,

The mill is staffed entirely by volunteers and they were all very enthusiastic in what thet were doing. Although it is only open to the general public on Sunday afternoons, groups can arrange a private visit at other times.

Well worth a visit if in the area.

We were very pleased to find that the Mill is now open. The Volunteers here do an excellent job, we were escorted round the Mill by Peter who gave us lots of very interesting and entertaining information about the workings of the Mill and its history. We can also recommend lovely home made cakes and tea on offer in the Visitors centre. First class- we’ll be back!

Spent a lovely sunny Easter Sunday touring the mill. The surrounding area is stunning , lots of interesting plants and wildlife around the Mill pond. We were given a tour by Peter, who gave us a fascinating glimpse into the history of Bunbury Mill through his extensive knowledge, pictures and examples of working machinery.
We finished the tour with some homemade cakes and drinks.

We enjoyed a lovely afternoon here with the family. We had a really interesting and hands on tour of the mill and the host was really engaging with the children. We learnt a lot about the history of the mill and history of mill industry. Afterwards we fed the ducks and had a yummy cakes, teas and coffee's in the cafe. Its all run, maintained and developed by a fantastic and talented group volunteers.

Beautiful site with picnic tables, a mill pond and lovely walks. The mill is fascinating as is the educational centre which serves tea and home made cakes on Sunday and Bank Holidays. Delightful little place off the beaten track and VERY peaceful

I am the father of the 2 children that you assume we couldn't control. I can assure you that they are very well behaved. My wife was pointing out that it was hazardous for the children. The tour was not geared for children, in fact you spent most of the tour talking to me. Therefore the children would naturally be bored. Also, you admitted that some children found it difficult going diwn the stairs backward. In fact I lost interest once you complained that if you was of a different race you would have got funding from the lottery. With an attitude like yours I am surprised you are still in business and I for one won't visit again.

Called here today and did the guided tour. It costs a very reasonable £4 and lasts for about 40 mins. Our guide was Peter who was a very pleasant and knowledgeable gentlemen. The tour is extremely interesting. The restoration project was completed by volunteers who have done an amazing job. There is good parking and everyone is very friendly. The tea shop has lovely food and a wide variety of delicious home made cake. There are also good toilet facilities. They also have an outside eating area by the mill pond which is a lovely setting. They are only open on a Sunday afternoon from 1pm to 5pm, but I would certainly recommend a visit.

Visited Bunbury Mill as a family to indulge in the amazing cakes they have to offer. We ended up doing a tour of the mill which turned out to be really interesting and interactive, made even better by our guide. For only £4 a ticket, it is well worth the money! The friendly volunteers work tirelessly to keep the mill running and offer delicious food in the cafe. There are some lovely walks close by too. Can’t wait to go back!
