Our Tasting Room is open every weekend (except certain holidays). Visit us: Friday 4-8 Saturday 1-6 Sunday 1-5 Enjoy our Vineyard Vibrations Live Music Series every Friday of the year from 6-8 as well as select Sundays from 3-5, free. You can taste any or all of our wines, complimentary. During your tasting, if you have questions, just ask. Our hosts can tell you about our grape selection, production methods, and what makes each wine special.

Stopped in for a quick tasting. Tasting is $7 for 5 wines. Wine is fantastic! Prices for bottles is comparable. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Ask to taste their cider and frozen wine slushees. They are fantastic! Adequate parking. Grounds are beautiful. Interior is somewhat industrial but clean

We went there for a live music event on a Friday night. The music was fantastic and the wine was also great! The winery was packed with people and the atmosphere was very lively. I tried two of the wine varieties and plan to go back to try them all!

This winery, located just outside of Fort Dodge in the scenic Iowa farmland, is exactly what this city needs. Soldier Creek Winery is just over a year-old, but the wines taste far wiser than their years! A new take on Iowa wines-- they are many and varied. The wines are not your typical sweet, Iowa wine...but something more sophisticated all together.
The tasting room is set together with the actual winery. You are able to sample the wines, drink a bottle, or sit and relax while seeing where the whole process takes place. The outdoor deck is a breezy venue for drinking a crisp La Crescent in the sultry Iowa summer (which I definitely recommend).
Soldier Creek Winery holds events for wine drinkers, crafters, and music enthusiasts alike. This Iowa gem is great for an afternoon visit after a bicycle ride, an evening out after dinner, a bridal shower, or more! Don't forget your smart phone because you will definitely want to brag about this winery to all of your friends!
The winery offers many great wines, but for people who prefer more dry wines with a full body and complex flavors I would recommend: La Crescent, Marquette Rosé, Geneva Red 7, and Vintner's Estate Red.

Family-owned and a first class experience! Delicious and award-winning wines grown on the farm by the owners. The free live music every weekend is a real treat, especially in nice weather when the crowd gathers outside under the trees to enjoy the music. This is a great venue for showers, parties of any kind, even corporate gatherings. Two thumbs up for the wine slushie, which is especially delicious in warmer weather. 👍🏻👍🏻 This place is well worth the visit! 🍷🍷🍷

Do NOT miss the chance to visit with the wonderful folks here at Soldier Creek Winery!
First, the staff truly are "like a family" even if they are not blood related to the family of winemakers who own this beautiful place. And, that family feeling spills over onto visitors as you are welcomed as one of their own from the moment you walk through the doors. This makes you want to keep coming back as many of the locals do. So very many of them talked with us out-of-towners last night and had rave reviews about what it is like here during the warmer summer months with outdoor seating, too.
The wine is incredible. No way to describe it, you will have to try it for yourself.
The food was brought in by a local pub and was delicious; large portions at low prices.
There is quite a bit to choose from here for shopping as well, not just the t-shirts and jackets you'd find at most wineries...Lots of really neat wine related items we've not seen elsewhere. Local chocolatier items at the register too for those impulse buy items.
Add live music in to this mix and you have a PERFECT way to spend an evening here among friends, new and old!

If you are looking for a casual good time where you and your friends can sit and relax, enjoy a glass of wine, maybe learn a thing or two about wine (if you are so inclined) and have a good conversation without feeling rushed, then stop in here. I have stopped in here in different seasons and there seems to be always something new to try.

We were with a Family reunion. The daughter Anne gave an excellent talk on their winery and we watched them harvesting the grapes. We had wine shipped and it arrived in excellent condition. Looking forward to enjoying the wine. Thank you for sharing this experience with our family reunion.

My husband and I live locally and went to Soldier Creek on a Sunday afternoon with our son and daughter-in-law who were visiting from Austin, Texas. We were able to sit outside looking out at the vineyard and the corn. It was so peaceful and beautiful. Amanda assisted us with our tasting and talked about the various wines that we had chosen. We asked questions and she answered all with great knowledge. When we checked out, we also checked out the merchandise which was really fun. We will definitely be putting this on list to do again in the future. Thank you, Amanda and Soldier Creek Winery.
