We called for a last minute reservation and there was availability. We did the supper cruise. Boarded at 5:30, left at 6, returned about 8. Beautiful night. I thought the narration was great. It wasn't a full ride, so that was nice. The meal was of great quality, had carved prime rib, chick breast, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, macaroni... More

Did the standard tour without lunch or dinner. Cruise lasted an hour and a half and on this lovely sunny day it was a pleasure. Nice slow journey on a very smooth Mississippi River. Lots of trees bridges and houses on the hillsides to look at. Captain does a commentary but is so disinterested it's off putting and hard to... More

We took the sunset dinner cruise and had a great time. Views were beautiful and I had never been on a paddle boat. Dinner was plentiful (buffet style) and very good. The Captain could have done a better job with his tour speech, he seemed to be very bored and like he was reading it. Dinner music was nothing to... More

To visitors of the Mississippi River. Enjoy a relaxing paddle boat ride and see the beautiful colors of the Fall on your excursion. A narrative of the scenic Mississippi river is included. Watch for eagles, as the area is blessed with them.

Beautiful weather helped make this trip a lot of fun. The captain was a little verbose, but the information was all interesting. Bar on board so beverages were available the entire cruise. It is a very pleasant way to spend a couple hours and the sights are breathtaking. I imagine autumn would be spectacular!

If the process to buy tickets was any indication of how the tour would be, I could've saved $50. The captain giving the tour could not have been less impressed with Dubuque and the Mizzizzippi River. Half the time he was stating historical facts about points of interest we were still about 5 minutes from, so we had no clue... More

Twice in the last 8 years we have gone on a day trip to the Dubuque area to do various things. Both times we looked forward to taking a real riverboat tour. BOTH times the boat was down for repairs for the day. Their website does not list this so you wouldn't know ahead of time unless you call. SO... More

We were pretty much the only two families on the boat so the service was over the top. Kids all had several kiddie cocktails and we all enjoyed the lunch. Scenery was nice. If we do it again I would probably skip the meal and just do the cruise. Kids also got to drive the boat and get picture taken... More

My daughter's birthday was a few days away. We decided to take a ride on the Dubuque River Rides after hearing about is from my brother. I ordered the tickets for this ride before I left home and was delighted that they were ready for us when we arrived. We selected the dinner cruise and was delighted with the food... More

The captain/guide did his best to make his narrative interesting, but it just wasn't enough info for me. A meal cruise should be better because you would have something else to occupy the time
