Spur of the moment stop and it was a gem worth stopping at. No wine tasting because of covid, but the gal who was working was super sweet, helpful, and friendly! We got appetizers, dessert, and some wine which was all delicious! the place has a lovely appreciation of wine, which set the mood. Strawberry Rhubarb is our fav but then we also loved Apple Cranberry, if you like sweet wines this is your place!

Stopped here on the Sunday afternoon. Wanted a bite to eat but they just had appetizers. Did a little wine sampling. The wine was fine. Service was fine. Appetizers were slightly below mediocre. Frozen mozzarella sticks were slightly under done and fast bruschetta could have been great with about 2 more minutes of effort.

The building is amazing and the outside sitting areas are very pretty and comfortable. But, most of the wines are extremely sweet. The other two are extremely dry. Nothing for the middle of the roaders. The service was also very limited. We were there on a Wed afternoon. There were maybe 6-7 customers including us. After ordering our wine (supposedly semi-sweet) at the bar and taking it outside, we never saw anyone again until we went back inside, where there were three people on duty. We ordered a second glass (dry this time) and moved to a different outside area. We again saw no one until we went back inside to pay.

Spent half a day in Dubuque. Found the Stone Cliff Winery in the Old Dubuque Star Brewery. No tasting because of the COVID-19. Had a glass of Purple Cow and Sangria. Nice bar area and atmosphere to relax and enjoy a glass. They provide popcorn if you ask. Can’t help yourself. All very rustic.

Wanted to take my wife here because it looks like a really nice place. She loves wine and we both love food. Well, there was no eating or tasting inside, kind of understandable as Covid is still a thing. It was 90+ degrees outside but thought we could handle it. There was a table under the pergola. There were patrons at 5 other tables, kind of slow. 3 waiters. NO ONE EVEN ACKNOWLEGED US!!!!!!! WE SAT FOR APPROX 15 MINUTES IN THAT HEAT, SWEATING BULLETS, NOTHING. IMO, IT IS NOT UP TO ME TO START WAVING MY ARMS FOR SERVICE, IT WAS HARD NOT TO BE NOTICED BUT WE WERE. WE LEFT, UNFORTUNATELY MY WIFE DID NOT GET THE EXPERIENCE WE BOTH THOUGHT WE COULD GET.
