The hotel is not overpriced, but the water park is. The admission is high for the few attactions you can use. Children 10 and under will like the activities, but older kids will bore easily. Ask for a river view on the top floor for a view of the Mississippi.

Save your money. This water park is smaller then it looks in pictures. High energy children and children 11and up will get bored pretty fast. We were out of there in just 2 1/2 hours. Not worth spending nearly $70. People brought in food and drinks. (Just no glass) we might of stayed longer if we did that. Although not... More

We stayed here as a part of the Twilight Riverboat Cruise package. I probably wouldn't ordinarily stay here as waterparks ceased to interest me a long time ago. The rooms were very nice and equipped with fridge microwave and a coffee pot. and an iron and ironing board (do people still iron on vacation). The wifi was crappy and quit... More

Grand Harbor Resort was a great place to stay. The hotel staff is very friendly, the rooms are clean and the beds comfortable. Our room had a view of the Mississippi River. It was fun watching the boats and barges travel down the river. Grand Harbor has a nice water park for younger kids but admission was not included which... More

We were here years ago with our own kids and all the levers, pulleys, and buckets worked. This time here with nephews and most don't work. Lots of things rusted. Boys had a great time but we were disappointed to see the repairs needed.

If you are in Dubuque with the family and the kids need to burn off some energy, this is a great option! Not as big of a waterpark as the mega waterparks in the dells, but a lot to do and a lot of fun. Also, the water temperature is really nice (our experience has been that often times the... More

Utilized this property for both accomodations and the waterpark over the July 4 weekend. The hotel prices are a bit steep but the location is prime in Dubuque and the rooms are well-furnished. We stayed in a city-view suite, which to be warned, our suite style is located across from vending and the elevators, and the walls are paper thin... More

We stayed here one night with the Riverboat Twilight cruise group. Our room was really nice, clean, with comfortable bed and full of amenities. The hotel staff treated us like VIPs. Breakfast was included in our package and was very good.

The outdoor dining area was right next to the Mississippi River. Just beautiful and the food was good. The waterpark seemed clean with plenty of tables and chairs for the older generation. Kids loved it. We got riverview rooms, and while lovely, we did hear train noise every now and then. I would definitely stay here again, with or without... More
