We attended a service our local church had at the picnic area. This park is just beautiful and very well maintained. Our only disappointment is that dogs are not allowed. Our little one would love a walk there!

It is unbelievable that this large park and gardens are free. There are many plants and flowers to see. The Koi pond was being repaired and detracted from what would be a great centerpiece to the grounds. We enjoyed seeing and photographing the birds (hummingbirds, cardinals, finches, wrens, ...) around the bird feeders.

We spent about an hour or so walking around this beautiful garden. It's FREE to get in, which I thought was incredible considering how well done the garden is. Other botanical gardens I've been to don't have many mature trees. This one has trees in abundance, which was wonderful. I especially liked the hostas garden which felt almost tucked away... More

Nice garden, too bad we ran into yet another large family that has no manners and children are out of control. Sad to see them breaking the displays.

This is a great place to go to be around nature. The different areas of the gardens are beautiful and wonderfully maintained. Perfect for going out and walking around.

The arboretum is a beautiful park and a lovely place to walk about. On Sundays in the summer they have free musical concerts. Take your lawn chair, drinks and food and enjoy the music.

Gorgeous Hosta display and stunning Asian garden. Rcks and water features and shady paths....call ahead if you have a handicapped person in your party and they can arrange a little tour by a golf cart type of affair. Every vista is beautiful. AS a fan of Chicago, St. Louis, and Los Angeles public gardens, I would say it compares in... More

This is a MUST visit when coming to Dubuque, IA whether you have a green thumb or not, or have a love of flowers and trees or not. There is so much to see, smell and hear while casually walking on the paths. While we were there a portion of the grounds was getting ready for a wedding, with rows... More

Great place to enjoy and smell the variety of flowers, hostas, and Chinese garden. The pavilion or Gazebo is a great venue to host a wedding. Also enjoy live music on Sunday evenings in the Summer.
