We stayed at the hotel next door, so nice you can walk over without going outside.. This place has Tons of penny slots, trying to find slots that weren’t penny slots was a Huge scavenger hunt.. There was also cards and roulette wheels, bars, and...More
Casino is large but not a lot of slot machines to choose from in my opinion. Played the slots and they were extremely tight. Players club staff was very friendly. $5 to new players really?? Not very welcoming to new players. Thankfully the casino wasn’t...More
The casino and dog track were well maintained and surprisingly not smoke filled. Nice area a bit off the beaten path. Always better when you win! The slots were not brand new but not ancient ones either. Tables were full. Good concerts in the casino...More
Heavy smoke smell even before you enter casino. The indoor walkway from the Hilton to casino was nasty. Smelled like an old ashtray. Even permeates into the hotel lobby. Not appealing at all. Casino itself has the feeling of "slapped together". No excitement, seemed tired...More
I really enjoy Q as a great getaway for a few hours, and the fact that a massive gaming conglomerate doesn't benefit from my losses is also appealing. Like any casino, I would suggest going in off-hours. I'm not afraid of people, but I think...More
Able to park reasonably. It's a nice layout. We enjoyed Steve the blackjack dealer, but we couldn't understand the cocktail server -- whether our drinks were free or we had to pay. Not really clear. We got bottled water. Steve was a patient dealer for...More
Mostly for gamblers, but great entertainment options, nice Midwest buffet, great sports bar area, clean, friendly service, reasonably priced. Good selection on menu with completely remodeled and redesigned restaurant. Packs the house on weekends and great crowds during the week. Well stocked bar.
I should start off by saying my wife and I are not big gamblers. We were staying at the hotel, so stopped in after dinner. The place is full of smoke, so if you like that you will like this. It is fairly nice inside...More
Didn’t gamble. Walked through to get to restaurant on site. Felt and smelled like I sat in an ashtray. Disgusting. Will not go back to restaurants located inside because of casino smell. Needs better ventilation.
Unfortunately, I cannot answer your question. I have been a patron of the casino, but I do not work there. I do not know how they arrive at their figures or percentages. I would be surprised if the casino answers you, but... More
Unfortunately, I cannot answer your question. I have been a patron of the casino, but I do not work there. I do not know how they arrive at their figures or percentages. I would be surprised if the casino answers you, but I guess you never know. Supposedly the Meskwaki Casino in Tama has "the best payouts..." but how they determine that is unbeknownst to me!
