This trail goes from Dubuque to Dyersville and is great for walking or bike riding. There are even a few bar stops on the way. The ride is mostly canopied so it is cool and scenic.

No close place on the Heritage Trail to rent a bike. Try Bicycle World on Central Avenue. They used to rent some of their bikes. You could potentially rent a bike from them and find your way to the paved trail downtown... More
