Great place for bangers!

A family member said this was the best place in the area for burgers. We didn't have those, but my husband did say, "I would rate these among the best bangers I've ever had." He... read more

We arrived at about 5:45 on a Friday evening and were greeted by friendly hostess that seated us in the perfect place for our tastes. We enjoyed a casual drink and were under no pressure to order until we were ready. The atmosphere and ambiance are perfect for couples to larger groups with anothe very nice bar and dining area... We were told this was an English pub so being English we decided to pay it a visit. The place was very dark inside and full of beer mirrors on the walls. Something not seen in England since the 80's. there was a large Scottish flag hanging up, but no English one. Like the previous pub we had been in... More

Truly an unexpected gem in the heartland. This pub tasks you to Scotland without the need for a passport. Food cannot miss and the beer and whisky selection rocks!! If you're at all close -- GO!

Excellent good and a great vibe for atmosphere. Will definitely go back to try other menu items. Great service and a nice patio area.

This restaurant reminds one of being in Ireland, Scotland or England. They serve Guinness Beer along with a wide selection of other beers. There menu includes Shepard Pie, Cornish Pastry and Guinness Steak. They have a Kids menu also. It is moderately priced and a fun place to have a meal. They are open on Sundays as well as week... Stopped in with my son for a beer. Ordered. Waited ten minutes. Never saw our waitress again. Saw our beers on the bar. Either the service sucked or it was a self service bar.

And waited and waited and waited on our food, Arrived around 11:30 and place not busy. Placed our food order and the Mile started filling up quickly. Other diners that arrived well after our order was taken were getting their food but there we set. Finally asked our server where our food was and she explained the breakfast orders were... More

Make sure you put this restaurant on your list to try. The food is excellent, the staff is great and the beer selection is top notch. We will definitely be going back to try more of the excellent menu choices.

A family member said this was the best place in the area for burgers. We didn't have those, but my husband did say, "I would rate these among the best bangers I've ever had." He liked the mashed redskin potatoes that came along, too. I had mac and cheese which was good and creamy -- I'd like to enjoy that... More

Pub atmosphere. Food was average. Fish and chips were kind of greasy. Scotch egg was large but not that good. Kind of disappointing.
