Des Moines is the heart of Iowa, and Iowa's farmers are the circulatory system for the world. You can find all types of wonderful things here, however, don't miss the Giant cinnamon rolls.

Great place to grab some local produce and try other local meats and cheeses. Also look for some local wineries. Sample what your shopping for before you purchase!
