I seem to end up walking or jogging on this trail whenever I'm in town and have a bit of free time. Nice and quiet, with lots of wildlife. A piece of "state park" in the middle of west Des Moines.

I was shocked at how great of a cycling city Des Moines is. The trails in this city are amazing, you can get some good mileage in the city.

I have ridden my bike on this trail several times. It is a flat ride along a stream with a pretty view of trees and birds and landscaping. Each time I was on a longer ride and used part of this trail in my journey....More

With great tree covered paths this long path connects many things from des moines out to suberbs~ We walk it, bike it, and run it at least three times a week! Very well taken care of path by the city workers!
