I have loved going to Gray's Lake for a long, long time, and have been able to do so many different activities there. There is a 2.1 mile loop around the lake, which is great for running, walking, or rollerblading. It's fine for cycling, too, though I would generally recommend taking one of the many paths that split off from... More

I was living downtown, very overweight and totally out of shape when I discovered the trails that lead here. I began by driving to the parking lot and then started the 2 mile walk around the lake. The park benches, strategically placed along the path was the only way I was able to make it the whole way around. The... More

Fantastic spot for walking, running, biking, paddle boating, eagle watching...you name it! Definitely make an evening trip so you can see the bridge light up.

Great spot to walk the dog, go for a run, have an outdoor birthday party or rent a kayak and paddle onto Gray's Lake.

I used to go here in my youth and it really wasn't much but a mudhole with a hotel near it. After returning and seeing the improvements i was quite impressed . they've added a quite nice walking trail with tributaries to other areas or you can continue around the entire lake with some pretty nice scenery. 3rd best in... I will have to agree with what i heard about this park being the 3rd best park in the US. The location first is perfectly put where it is close to downtown, but not in downtown. It is exactly 1.98 miles around the main track that encircles Gray's lake. It has about every outlet you would want in a park... More

Great couple of mile walk around the lake. I never tire of this area, very pretty even after dark. Fairly safe, though I try not to walk alone. Plenty of parking east and west side of lake. Summer boat rentals and concession stand are a nice.
