Interesting outdoor sculpture park. We were trying to take in all of the city attractions. This would be great place to picnic in warmer weather or food truck stopping place

Easy to enjoy. I always make my way to this place when visiting Des Moines. You can spend as much or as little time as you want.

I visited Pappajohn Sculpture Park while in Des Moines. It is a very whimsical park with interesting sculptures throughout. At night the sculptures are lit up and it is visible upon entry to downtown Des Moines from the west.

There are tons of Pokemon things here-so says my husband and 13 year old who play it. We enjoy walking around, Pokemon hunting, and enjoying the artwork at this park. It is always clean and people are very friendly at it.

Great question! Since the Pappajohn Sculpture Park is technically a city park, dogs are more than welcome.

Great question! The area is well-lit at night including street lights as well as individual spotlights on a number of the sculptures in the park.
