Though it is a bit crowded when we went, it was a very fun and interactive experience to bring the grandkids! I was thoroughly impressed. I hope to bring the littlest when she is older. I even had fun playing with the weather channel monitor...More

My husband and I held our wedding reception at SCI in early October and loved the venue--we've been getting rave reviews from our guests ever since! The events team was great to work with and were very communicative and helpful throughout the whole process. We...More

Took our 2 year old there for a fun morning. There was plenty to do for him and it was so interactive. I think it would be appropriate for probably up to age 9

Lots to see and do. So nice that the kids can keep doing the action exhibits in the room upstairs for what seems like hours giving a break from ‘leashing’ the kids while still being educational. Great for the whole family!

Our 5 year old daughter had fun but the older children seemed a little bored. In general, the activities are attractive but they’re nothing more than any other science museum offers. We were disappointed to find out that IMAX had been closed for two months...More

This is a great place for adults and children to get hands on experience in science. The egg drop was great along with the making of a rocket out of paper and shooting it to see how far it would go. We attended most of...More

We went to the parking garage across the science center to park since that is where the website said to park. It was full, as was every parking area around the area. I guess there is a farmers market on Saturday mornings from 9-12, which...More

I would not eat lunch there, I would walk to the spaghetti works which is about a block away. I figure about two hours per visit, unless you’re adding a movie then maybe three hours.

We have spent an entire day there. There are plenty of things to keep you busy there. 3-5 hours would be more than enough time to do the egg drop, play in the water ways, make and shoot your rocket or see one of the live... More

Trip Report for Ozark/Springfield family trip (0 Replies)
We just returned home from a short roadtrip from Minnesota, through Iowa, to Ozark, Missouri. The trip was mostly about visiting some family members but we were able to throw in a few attractions for the 9 year old. On the first day in Missouri we went to see some animals because she loves tigers! We drove a short distance to the Wild Animal Safari in Strafford, MO. It was expensive to get in and you also have to pay extra for the food to feed the animals and yes the small zoo like area at...More

I would do something other than Runyon , with kids, on a Sunday morning as it's crowded, parking is tough, etc. Are you staying near Santa Monica? Wb tour would be kinda dull for kids the day after Universal, unless they are REALLY into Harry Potter. Summertime is not too impressive at a "working studio" where all tv shows are on vacation. Universal has rides/attractions. You can see "Hollywood Blvd stuff" the same day as Universal, it's a hop skip and a jump. It would help to know what...More
