Lots of hands on activities for all ages and good temporary exhibits that change every few months. My 9 year old could spend hours at the ball wall and in the town simulation. Also great Star theater where we can lay on the floor and watch shows about various topics. Lots for littler kids and adults too.

Been here a couple times with the kids. Staff is friendly and knowledgable. Plenty to keep kids going for a whole day.

This is a great discovery place for children. I recommend going in the middle of the week. It is also nice for raining summer days.

We spent about 2 hours in the Science Center and found plenty of activities geared for the young child. 3-10 but there is a center just for the toddler age child. Good hands on activities and learning centers. Nice place to visit on a really hot or rainy day.

The Science Center offers so many interesting things to do for children/families. There are many inter-active features and learning opportunities that are most interesting and educational. The IMAX theater also offers a fun experience no matter what the movie playing at the time. We enjoy taking our children/grandchildren to the Science Center and it seems they never get tired of... This is a SMALL science center. If you've never visited before it will be fun for about two hours at most. We have season passes and stuff never changes. There is maybe one or two floating exhibits but they are fare and few between. We just went this past weekend and there were no new exhibits and the same stuff... More

We went here with our son and daughter-in-law and 18-month-old granddaughter and had a wonderful time! There was plenty for our toddler to do and see. This would be a great place to visit with children of all ages, but would probably appeal most to pre-teens. We loved the interactive exhibits. Our granddaughter enjoyed many of them, and was content... More

Being a grown man that loves IMAX I was not disappointed at all. We went to go see Born to be Wild and took our 6 year old daughter. It was great and actually kept her attention which is not easy to do. The facilities were very clean and the theater is awesome.

This is not a very big science museum. It is ok for small children, but it does not have very much attractions, the ones thy do have are small.

My boys are 4 & 6, they had a fabulous time at the Science Center of Iowa! They learned new things too. They have a few shows during the day, we saw the fire show.....it was very neat and educational!! The boys are still talking about when we go back they are going to build a new rocket to launch!!
