This is a great place to watch a ball game. The stadium is about as nice as they come in the minor leagues. We took our 13 year old baseball team, and purchased group tickets. We had great seats, with everyone sitting together for $7 per ticket. The concession food is pretty affordable and good. The pork tenderloin basket seemed... More

We wanted to go to an I-Cubs game and decided the 4th of July would be perfect since we could incorporate a game and the fireworks. The game was good, the fireworks great. I would caution to choose your seats wisely if you have long legs or someone of "good" size in your group. The top row of the reserved... More

For a small market city like Des Moines Principal Park is an excellent stadium. It is very nice. I've played there (when in high school) and have watched many games there, both high school an I-Cubs, and never been disappointed. Everything you need is easy to get to and there is plenty of affordable parking close to the stadium.

Loved this park. We had cheap but great seats. Unfortunately the team lost both nights. One night was $1 hot dogs which were good. Park is clean with a nice atmosphere. Would go again.

Went to see the Iowa Cubs play on the 4th of July. I wasn't too sure if our seats would be great just by looking at the screen on my computer when purchasing our tickets but they were great! From Section 16, row 3 you could see everything on the field. My only complaint is that the players were acting... More

If you like hot dogs, pizza or tenderloins, this is the place to go. If you like baseball, Principal Park is one of the best AAA parks in the Midwest. If your a Cub fan, you need season tickets.

Beautiful park overlooking the confluence of the Raccoon and Des Moines rivers. Major League service and really good baseball, too.

For viewing the fireworks after the game I went out behind the ball park by the river and had an excellent view of the fireworks.

Went here for a Sunday afternoon game. Park is nice, clean. They do lots of family friendly things between innings such as shoot t- shirts into the crowd, have kids throw out pitches and announce players. There is a small water area with water shooting out of the ground, nice for kids to play in and cool off in. Ticket... More
