The Putnam is a place where people connect with history and ideas by doing, making and experiencing. Our classes and special events are a great complement to our hands-on exhibit galleries. There is always something new to discover and something for everyone at the Putnam.

Visited the King Tut exhibit, beautifully displayed , even the 7 and 10 yr old found it interesting in part because of the way it was presented. Fun and hands on area for children. Small outdoor area for kids to dig for dinosaur bones.

The grandkids are always requesting a trip to the Putnam so we got all of us a membership for Christmas. We go at least twice a month The STEM Science Technology Engineering exhibits are their favorites and now the dinosaur dig is open.

I went to the Putnam a few times growing up as a child in Davenport. Now it is a totally different experience the theater is awesome. The new exhibits are exciting and intresting with a lot of hands on activities for kids. We had to drag them out of there to get them to go! Lol

The Quad Cities is extremely fortunate to have such a high quality museum. The Putnam is a world class museum. The level of the exhibits, the management of the museum, and the staff are second to none. Everyone living in or visiting the Quad Cities should have the Putnam on their "Must" list.

My son and I love this museum! He loves all the interactive things there are for him to do. I love the art and sculptures! Especially love how each room is a different theme in history!

We LOVE this museum. They always have A+ traveling exhibits and the regular displays are so fun for kids most of them are hands on. You can easily spend most of your day here and the kids won't be bored.

We visited the museum for the King Tut exhibit, and spent more time than expected looking at the other exhibits. This museum is simply delightful, and all exhibits are well done.

The museum is small compared to larger cities, but it has a little bit of everything. The children's area is getting better and has things for all ages.

We were in town and had time to waste (there isn't a lot to do here other than eat or drink), but found the King Tut exhibit was in town. This was an outstanding exhibit and was done well. We also saw a 3D movie on America's parks which was nice. I don't know what it is like to visit... More

This museum is just the right size for a visit. Tour some of the exhibits and then watch a movie on their big screen. When leaving the theater besure to take a peek at the view of the Mississippi River and its bridges from the balcony.
