The view is stunning up here. You can see for miles, I like to go up here and watch the airplanes come in and take off from Eppley Airfield.

This attraction overlooks the Missouri river, the airport, omaha and so on. Free to go. Watch planes come in and take off. Take trails through the hills easy walking some going down are great for kids to slide down the narrow paths.

As you are going north towards the monument keep your eyes open and looking for a smallish sign. Believe me, it used to be smaller. You will drive past several houses and wonder if on the right road. Near the top of the hill, there...More

We go to this monument several times each year and it is just as wonderful each time. The view of the Missouri River , airport and airplanes, city of OMAHA. The water area from big lake and wetlands area is beautiful!

About half an hour is plenty to read the Monument plaques, take in the views, snap a few photos and take a quick hike on the trail (which I recommend!) - the trail is maybe a 7 minute walk with intermittent views, but be careful...More

Nice monument honoring Lewis and Clark. Pretty great views of the Omaha skyline and river to the west and beautiful green bluffs to the north and south. Something definitely worth checking out!

As I stood enjoying the view of Iowa to Omaha, Nebraska, I couldn't help but wonder what the landscape looked like when Lewis and Clark came through the territory. I thought the monuments were a very nice tribute to Lewis and Clark.

People do get married here. I don't believe that there is room for a reception. The area is fairly small.
