The best view of the area by far!

You truly can feel the spirit of the explorers Lewis and Clark looking out over the Missouri River. There's no better views of Omaha than from Council Bluffs!

Not many people visiting on a Saturday, so it is a nice quiet place to enjoy some hiking. Beautiful views!

Definitely worth a visit. The views are spectacular and the setting very peaceful. Bring a picnic and relax. Watch all the planes take off from Eppley.

Great views of the Missouri River and the airport (Eppley) Fun to watch the planes taking off and landing. Be award of surroundings as this is an isolated park and not well patroled.

Visiting this park has been on my bucket list for a long time. You see, my grandfather, Harry E. Stinson, was the artist who designed and created the monument in 1936. The City of Omaha hired me to do a 3D street painting for one of their outdoor events, and I realized that it was very close to this park,... More

There are no tour guides - drive in and start walking around! Our group had a great time and there are some trails you can walk down. Very pretty scenery.

A great In-our-backyard afternoon getaway. It is a wonderful view, especiallyin the fall, as one can see the migrating flocks of geese.

I love visiting historic sites and anything outdoors so thought I would visit. The directions from this site were completely wrong (using Google Maps) so I had to visit the website and manually enter the address, 19962 Monument Rd in Council Bluffs. Grounds were clean except lots of cigarette buts, which made me annoyed with mankind for a moment. Breeze... More

Watching the sunset, hiking the trails, enjoying the views of downtown Omaha are just a few reasons to stop and visit. I have visited here since a young child and now as a older lady I still feel like the first time I saw it!
