The mayor of Council Bluffs had a dream to develop this riverside park for his community. I visited after the summer/autumn flood of Missouri River in 2019. The park was tecnically closed but you could walk through if willing to get your shoes muddy. I have no problem with that. Lots of deer and other animal tracks preserved along the trail. Good views of Omaha from this park. Some artistic sculptures.

This is a nice park to walk around. There are some strange sports fields layed out in the grass. I couldn't figure out what they are. This is a nice place for a quick walk with lots of trail access along the river. The Sand area looked like an interesting simulated beach by the river if you are dying to tan in the sand.

Good picnic spot and open area for dogs and frisbee. Relaxing to see the river flow. Not a real busy place!

Right near the Harrah's casino and golf course, it's a nice riverside park with great views of the water and of Omaha. Plenty of parking and the place was clean and well maintained.

It's a park that can be easily accessed and a nice place to stop off for a quick walk. You'll have to drive through a few parking lots from the casino to find the actual park. On the day I was there they had a small market with various vendors.

The bridge crossing over to Omaha is a fun walk. Its neat to see the river from up high and kind of cool to be in two places at once (the line for Iowa and Nebraska is marked on the bridge). If you cross the bridge you will be near the ball park and the Century Link Center in Omaha.

I was not there in the evening but there are signs up regarding fun evening activities in the green space with computerized spotlights (where you can try to avoid the lights as they seek you or try to trick the computer by getting the light so switch from you to someone else).

This is a lovely park on the east bank of the Missouri River just across from Omaha, NE. Boasting access to the beautiful Bob Kerry pedestrian bridge, the park also has play fields , walking trails and new facilities allowing visitors to better enjoy the views are under construction.

This is a great place to walk as it inclines up and down, with a great view. It's difficult to get to with all construction that has started, but if you go through Harrah's parking, just keep going straight on the right you will come out to a parking lot that will allow you to walk to it!

I wanted to check this out for the view of Omaha and the pedestrian bridge but the day I visited was raining so I did not get a chance to cross the bridge. I drove though quickly though just to see the view of Omaha, which was pretty cool. I think it would have been nice to walk across the bridge though. It was difficult to find, the maps took me through another parking lot to access the park. I did also notice a homeless presence as well so keep an eye out for that if you visit.

I was here for soccer tournaments in October. We had a game at 8, and the view of the city was amazing! I would definitely suggest this if you want a nice break from the city, but don't want tot drive too far! Getting there was confusing, but I think it was worth the confusion!
