Miles of nature and a flat manicured trail. Enjoyed hours of walking, partially along a creek. Lots of critters along the way including butterflies, turtles, and even a baby Garder snake.

It is a good place for walk. In my opinion it was look very unattended. The office was close as the store too. No sings to explain what was around. But anyway we walk around and play with some things that where there and we had a fun time.

We stopped in on a first time visit and was very pleased with the visit. It is a very nice, quiet and fun place to take a stoll through the local woods and trails. make it a place to stop in and visit during your time here.

Nice, local place with many events throughout year where you and kids can learn a lot. New headquarters building/learning center coming soon. Sac and Fox trail runs to/through property. Worth a visit for family/kids. "Paddle Day" event with presentations by experts on paddle sports a hit/fun for us. Maple syrup making event fun.

I have hiked this stretch of trail for many years and today I will review it for you. This place had several miles of trail, mostly dirt with some of it crushed limestone and or sand. The trail I am most familiar is along the Cedar River at the Otis Road trailhead. Plenty of parking here but be aware of... More

this place is great for kids and adults alike. I love the gift shop, my granddaughter loves the "wobbly bridge" and my husband loves the pancakes! PS their first weekend in May plant sale is like none other!

The Cedar Greenbelt Trail weaves through the prairie and into one-track wooded trail. The trail head starts at the gravel parking lot across from the nature center. There is also a short trail for the little ones to explore behind the nature center. It has a little exploration pond and a great little suspension bridge. The nature center is small... More

I visited the Indian Creek Nature Center with my daughters 5th grade class. The guide made made the walk very interesting. He involved the kids in what was going on around the nature center, from fallen trees to listening for birds. Inside the kids had time to explore different nature set ups and play games. Wish we had more time... More

Great family event - maybe you'll even be inspired to collect and boil your own sap to make your very own homemade maple syrup!!
