There is a nice walkway along the river, and sometimes there are activities happening. It smells better on the days the factory is making crunch berry cereal :-).

Great fun on the river. Friendly people with options for rentals. Will go there again when we come back to Iowa.

We spent the weekend playing a game called Munzee. The area is filled with them and we meet up with fellow Munzee players. Your park system is wonderful and we enjoyed Jones Memorial Park, Noel Ridge and Ellis Park.

Couple of different ways to bike by the river and enjoy the sounds and sights. My favorite place to visit in the winter and watch the bald eagles. Nice little place to stop and have some refreshments is "The Shack Bar and Grill"

One of the locations to visit and find the joy of nature nearby the city. Don't miss this place if you get to Cedar Rapids as you will have a little time to your self and to enjoy a nice view with a lovely environment.

The Cedar River is accessible at so many different points. In some places it is a mighty river, and others it meanders peacefully. I heartily recommend finding as many different access parks as you can, to get a real feel for it. Best place in...More

Although prone to flooding with sometimes terrible damage, when tame, it's a beautiful river winding through the city. Nice on the bridges watching the water.
