These are far too good to be available to the general public! Plus you have to get a bag full when you leave- resistance is futile.

Cedar Falls Main Street is full of cute shops and quality restaurants. The vintage buildings add charm, but the shops are "current." Photographers are often seen shooting portraits here. Don't miss The World's Window free trade store for unique gift and home goods, with a purpose. We recommend the Cottonwood Canyon (Jamaican) and Ginger Thai restaurants. And Scratch Cupcakery has become a destination location!

If you are looking for something to do in Cedar Falls then just head to downtown Cedar Falls on Main Street. There is everything there from food to shopping. You could easily spend most of your day or night there.

Infinitely better downtown than it ever was in the 1980s when we were in high school. Nice restaurants, craft beer bars, breweries, shops, etc.

Downtown Cedar Falls (Main Street) is a great place to spend an evening. Many restruants, bars, two breweries, and specialty shops. When busy, you can usually find a parking spot 2 blocks west. Seems to be a safe place with friendly people.

Instead of a gals getaway weekend in Galena or Des moines, we decided to check out the Cedar Falls Parkade and it did not disappoint! We enjoyed visiting a variety of shops and had a difficult time deciding where to eat lunch as there were so many attractive restaurants within an area of a few blocks. We finally decided to try the recently remodeled Toad's (now named Horny Toad Bar & Grill) and enjoyed a tasty patty melt with beer battered fries. A very convenient place to stay on the Parkade is the historic Blackhawk Hotel with friendly staff and comfortable beds.

Enjoyed walking along Main Street. Cute shops. Checked out Stams candy store. Beautiful inside. Got iced coffee, gelato and chocolate. All very good. Ate at Los Cabos. Good food friendly server. Later stopped for a night cap at The Noble Oak new on Main Street. Staff was very nice although we might have to teach the bartender how to make a perfect bourbon Manhattan. Cedar Falls is lovely!

According the a Google Search, it appears that most of the shops are closed on Sunday. However, food and beverage outlets appear to be in full swing.
