Ottimo punto di partenza per scoprire il territorio

Si trova all'interno dell'Antiquarium "Il Canapaio", in Via dei Lagoni a Sasso Pisano, dove sono esposti i reperti più importanti rinvenuti presso il Complesso Termale Etrusco-Romano "Il Bagnone". E' aperto dal 10 maggio al 30 ottobre con orari come da foto. Vi ho trovato del personale cortese e disponibile, oltre a del materiale informativo interessante. E' gestito dal Consorzio Turistico di Volterra, per cui vi si possono reperire informazioni che riguardano l'intera Alta Val di Cecina. Lo ritengo il luogo di partenza ideale per scoprire il territorio circostante.

Purtroppo non ho visto l'ufficio turistico. Le varie "attrazioni" geotermali presenti sul territorio di Sasso Pisano sono poco e mal segnalate. In alcuni punti perfino inagibili. Anche il lago boracifero (che presenta un cosiddetto "lagone") non è segnalato. Peccato: sicuramente sono scenari che andrebbero maggiormente valorizzati, come per esempio a Monterotondo!
