The area of Pian Gembro is fairly undiscovered and under-visited by tourists, but it holds amazing possibilities of seeing interesting flora and microfauna, while walking through this natural reserve. Take a guided tour in Italian or English (tour should be arranged beforehand) to learn about the peat bogs, moors, watering holes and the creatures that called this place home. There are walking trails that lead to fruit trees with fruit that is disproportionately large compared to the rest of the tree. For skiers, this reserve offers long distance skiing with a path extending 7.5km as well as a ski slope.
