Not sure exactly how to review a bridge, but I was glad we took the time to walk across it and enjoy the views both of the river and the villages on each side.

I was traveling with my mom on a mother/daughter trip. Next time we are in the area, I will make a stop with the rest of the family. It is an old bridge that is now a pedestrian only bridge. You can feel the history...More

We walked up the Vernon bridge and took in the gorgeous views of the river. It is a walking bridge only, and at one time it was completely condemned from even foot traffic. There is some interesting history available to read about the bridge that...More

This is a very cool site to see when you are in Bentonsport. To walk out across the bridge and see the river and imagine what the old settlers saw. Very nice!!

We live near this bridge, so we may be a bit biased, but you can't beat it for relaxing with a book on the benches. During the nights with shooting stars, there is no better place to take a blanket and watch the celestial show!

This was a fun tourist stop. You get an eagle's eye view of the Des Moines river. It was a unique experience.

We always walk across this bridge. In the winter, you can watch the eagles catching fish! Also fun to see the water going across the rocks on the bottom. Sunrise and sunset, you must see and experience!
