The memorabilia and home artifacts are not as good as the knowledgeable & enthusiastic tour guide. The mural at the top is a spectacular conclusion.

The museum is the long time home of Eugene Debs in Terre Haute, IN. His birthplace is elsewhere in Terre Haute, but this is the house he and his wife, Jean, lived in for many years. It is small and they do a respectable job...More

We arrived too late for the full hour tour, but our guide was very accommodating and we enjoyed an abbreviated tour. She was a recent ISU graduate in political science and knew about Debs and the times very well; a good guide can make all...More

Interesting place. Located on the Indiana State University campus downtown. The socialist ran for President five times. It won't take long to tour.

This is a home about a local Terre Haute socialist. There was NO tour, you are on your own and given a map/guide to follow. Would be so much better if someone guide you thru. Lots of antiques and old items, plenty to see. You...More
