My son's squirt hockey team got to play here this weekend and we loved the facility. From the nice locker rooms to the arena without a bad seat, this arena does not disappoint. The benches are on opposite sides of the ice, which was different. There's rich Notre Dame decoration throughout the place including clovers on the end of every... More

This is a first class facility for watching college hockey. There is plenty of free parking. Concession stands have good quality food. Entertainment between periods and play stoppages is great.

This is a great place to watch ice hockey. We were visiting campus for a school of science open house for my daughter and there was a game on Friday night. The arena is small enough so every seat has a great view with seating for 5,000. I highly recommend going to a game even if you are not a... More

Arena was immaculate. Our girls received a personal tour of the building including locker rooms, and media areas. Snack bars were closed, but there was a huge basketball game happening concurrently. Parking was handled well and staff was very helpful.

First visit to the Notre Dame campus, and the exterior architecture of the Ice Arena (made to match the other campus buildings) is underwhelming. But once you walk through the entry foyer - WOW! The interior could be described as "intimate" if you are used to watching hockey in NHL arenas, but the lighting & sight lines & open architecture... More

See if there are still tickets for the start of Notre Dame Hockey 2015-2016 Season, first game is Oct. 9, 2015. Notre Dame starts season ranked 4th in NCAA Hockey. Our family loves to go to Open Skate on Sunday afternoon. Great to Skate at Compton. Skate Rental, free use of beginners' walkers/trainers. Check out the gift store.

The whole reason I was here was to give my son a close up and personal look at his beloved Chicago Blackhawks during their pre season training camp. We drove all the way from Kentucky, but what we got was so much more. This arena is a marvel to behold. It is steeped in all of the great traditions of... More

Outstanding place to take in a hockey match or just go skating with your family. Notre Dame has done a wonderful job with this facility. We attend several hockey games each year and we are always very happy with the experience.
