The farmer's market has been in existence for almost 90 years. Stall after stall of fresh produce, wonderful meats, breads and flowers - all local. It is an amazing, bustling place - especially on a Saturday morning. It is the original "farm to fork" place.

Fresh food galore. Although this farmers market is open on Friday's only half of the normal vendors are set up for sales. Join the many customers looking for fresh Michigan Frits, veggies, meats and other items such as books, herbs jewelry etc.

I took my 2 young girls here on a weekday afternoon just to check it out while we were in town visiting family since I had read such great reviews. It was decent - a lot of vendors were not there (I assume the weekend is the hot time to go), but we still found some great fruit and veggie... More

when the summer produce comes in, it's especially time to visit this place - and you can drop in for a meal at its restaurant all year long - the market is open all year on Tuesdays, Thursday, Friday and Saturday morning and early afternoons but what it has to offer changes during the year - in the summer there... This is overall a great farmer's market. I have never been disappointed by anything I have bought from there. There are some repeat items, also make sure you go on Saturday as most of the booths are not open the other days!

The Farmer's Market in SB is as good as you'll find in the Midwest and better than most. It's been in operation since the early '50s in this location and overall since 1911. Fresh vegetables, meat, baked goods, plants, flowers, a great breakfast site...most under roof while some spills out the doors. It's a gem if you like Farmer's Markets.

The vendors are so friendly and answer all of your questions regarding their produce. Samples are readily available. The restaurant there serves breakfast and lunch in the market on the open days. I purchase my geraniums there every year as well as the lavender plants. The day's open vary with the seasons. Tuesday is short on venders. Thursday is getting... More

Lots of fresh produce and meats. Great diner, everything sourced at the market. Bought handcrafted leather bag and handcrafted rugs. Prices are competitive. Had a lovely time

It's been years since I've gone to the farmers market in south bend. This visit was a great surprise. It was my wife's idea to go and have breakfast. The cafe is located in the center of the H shaped building. We sat at the counter inside there are table out in the hallway. Sharon was our waitress and gave... More

Great year round attraction, whether meeting friends for coffee or doing weekly shopping. There's a year round supply of gifts, food and is my favorite place to meet up with friends!
