Beautiful venue

The inside and out of this venue is stunning! The performances and shows they bring in are great for the size of the city they're in. Can't wait to go back!

Wow what a wonderful place. It is small and quaint for a theater. We loved it but seating was oversold? We had seats 1 and 2 I row m on far right side by doorway to balcony. Row m and L both had seats 123 then 2 blank spaces and then another seat. So 2 guys show up for seats... More

We're happy that you enjoyed the Joe Bonamassa concert at the Morris. A seating issue occurred when theater seats were removed to be used as a wheelchair position. (1 wheelchair position = 4 theater seats removed) It can be a challenge to reseat everyone quickly just prior to the start of the concert. We hope you will come to see... More

We're glad you enjoyed your visit top the Morris except for your car being towed. The parking lots on the north side of the Morris Center are private parking lots. Public parking is available in the parking garage on the corner of Main and Colfax, and at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel/1st Source Bank Complex. Parking is also available on... More

We saw old crow medicine show here and had an awesome evening. This is a beautiful downtown theatre. It has been well maintained. Show was fantastic, sounded amazing, and our view from the balcony was phenomenal. Theatre is easy to get to, right across the street from our hotel. Only complaint is the price of the beer, $11 is a... More

This theater is a historic show place in South Bend. The interior is ornate and covered in gold in many areas. The sound system and stage have been updated. Not a bad seat in the theater.

Thank you for your comments on the beautiful, historic Morris. Although FLASHDANCE may not not been your favorite musical, we hope you might like some of the other upcoming Broadway shows this season -- BUDDY-THE BUDDY HOLLY STORY, 42nd STREET, or THE BOOK OF MORMON. More

We had the pleasure of being in the sold out audience for the Centennial Concert presented by the Notre Dame Glee Club. Our seats were on the main floor and yes, it's true….there is not a bad seat in the house! It is an architecturally rich venue and gorgeously decorated.

Thank you for your comments. We're thrilled that you had a great experience at the Morris Theatre. There are many different styles of architecture in the theater which opened in 1922 as the Palace Theatre. The developer, Jacob Handlesman, wanted to give people a feeling as if they were taking a trip to Europe. The Morris is listed on the... More

The time I was there the theater was closed as there were no shows at the time due to other festivals in South Bend. Still it's a old historic building with nice architecture and I enjoy taking photos of these old buildings so if you're also interested in that then it may be worth taking a look and right across...
