This theater is a historic show place in South Bend. The interior is ornate and covered in gold in many areas. The sound system and stage have been updated. Not a bad seat in the theater.

Thank you for your comments on the beautiful, historic Morris. Although FLASHDANCE may not not been your favorite musical, we hope you might like some of the other upcoming Broadway shows this season -- BUDDY-THE BUDDY HOLLY STORY, 42nd STREET, or THE BOOK OF MORMON. More

We had the pleasure of being in the sold out audience for the Centennial Concert presented by the Notre Dame Glee Club. Our seats were on the main floor and yes, it's true….there is not a bad seat in the house! It is an architecturally rich venue and gorgeously decorated.

Thank you for your comments. We're thrilled that you had a great experience at the Morris Theatre. There are many different styles of architecture in the theater which opened in 1922 as the Palace Theatre. The developer, Jacob Handlesman, wanted to give people a feeling as if they were taking a trip to Europe. The Morris is listed on the... More

The time I was there the theater was closed as there were no shows at the time due to other festivals in South Bend. Still it's a old historic building with nice architecture and I enjoy taking photos of these old buildings so if you're also interested in that then it may be worth taking a look and right across... I took my mom to an Irish Christmas concert and it was fantastic. Historic charm, decent parking, very glamorous in its hey day. Preserved nicely and this is the venue to see great theatre, music and dance. Acoustics are fantastic and seats comfortable. The Morris is a city treasure for generations to come. You must go at least once!

We're glad you enjoyed the show! The Morris was delighted to host the CELTIC WOMAN "Home for Christmas" show in December 2014, with great Irish music, songs, and dancing! More
